At the end of the course, you will be able to operate mechanical devices or heavy machinery to perform waste sorting and also carry out waste recycling & materials recovery operations without/with minimal supervision and guide new sorters on the job. You will also learn to handle mechanised tools and equipment and incidents.

This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Waste Management Sector.

At the end of the course, you will be able to operate compaction vehicles, such as rear and loaders, side loaders and compaction equipment to collect and transport waste.

At the end of the course, you will be able to operate hook-lift mounted trucks and equipment to collect and transport waste during waste collection.
